Event Information

Title: U.S. Hunger Community Service Event

Description:

Join your fellow plastics industry colleagues to package meals for the Orlando community struggling with food scarcity and hunger. With eight assembly lines, 80-120 volunteers can be packaging meals at any given time, and folks can come and go as it is convenient for their schedules – stay for 10 to 15 minutes, or volunteer for the four full hours and anywhere in between. Volunteers will be packaging a red lentil jambalaya meal with a goal of packaging 20,000 meals. This event, in partnership with U.S. Hunger and Alliance Specialties & Laser Sales will mark NPE's first-ever community service event and provides the perfect opportunity for NPE attendees, exhibitors, and staff to volunteer with other industry professionals while making a difference to fight against hunger.
