Learn about Chiguard® GA403 (GA403), a novel UV blocker derived from vanillin. Its high absorption in the UV-A wavelength region makes it suitable for optical applications requiring blue light absorbance. When loading 1500 ppm GA403 in a 1 mm thick PET film, it can block blue light up to 405 nm. GA403 also performs zero migration and outstanding thermostability for PET food package applications.
