Keri Holland

Dr. Holland is a Senior Policy Advisor, Office of Environmental Quality, Bureau of Oceans, and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs (OES) at the U.S. Department of State. Dr. Holland is responsible for the End Plastic Pollution International Collaborative (EPPIC) public private partnership and serves as a multilateral environmental negotiator in a variety of fora, including at the UN Environment Program and on plastic pollution. She completed the Secretary’s Leadership Seminar at Harvard Business School in 2021. She previously served as the Chief of the Multilateral Affairs Division and as an advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Economic Growth, Energy, and the Environment. Prior to the Department of State, Holland was a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Santa Barbara and received a Ph.D. in Ecosystem Ecology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Holland holds a B.A. in Environment & Policy from Trinity College in Connecticut.
