Deidre Sandrock

Deidre Sandrock serves as the Director of Sustainability and Innovation for Milliken’s Chemical Business. Drawing from a wealth of experience bridging the technical and commercial aspects of the organization, she collaborates across functions and drives Milliken's innovations toward sustainability. Her primary focus is on new product development and creative applications that address critical issues like circularity, biodegradability, and end-of-life considerations. Deidre's deep familiarity with Milliken's chemical portfolio stems from her role as a research and development chemist, a position she assumed in 2010. In 2016, she transitioned to the commercial side of the plastics additives business, where she developed the sustainability strategy and roadmap for the unit to help inform global strategy. With a Ph.D. in organic chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania, Deidre's passion for science has been a guiding force in her journey at Milliken. Her exceptional skill lies in translating highly technical data into an accessible and understandable format. Her sustainability approach is grounded in empirical data and is distinctly commercially focused, guiding the daily actions and decisions of her team.
